I'm afraid its about time the federal government stepped in and took away the right of states to make these kinds of decisions. The fools are trying harder and harder to restrict the internet as it cuts into various revenue streams. Here in Minnesota its gambling. If federal law isn't implemented each state will carve up the internet, removing anything that they perceive as financially or socially negative, and the era of freedom we have enjoyed for two decades will end. Next will come hefty state by state taxes to "level the playing field" for local retailers, followed by restrictions on academic and political websites under the guise of "social harm," you just watch.

The bigger issue here that should outrage ANYONE, even if they hate gambling, is the notion that a state should be allowed to order ISPs and telcos to block access to ANYTHING. What's next, the opposition party's webpages?

Way to go Chris! I'll come bail you out of these spineless pricks come after you. On the other hand, I'm glad to hear things are so good in your state that they have nothing better to worry about.
