I think internet gambling can indeed contribute to suicide among not only the young. That is not to say that the gambling alone is the cause, but I have seen, first hand, it contribute greatly to an attempted suicide. A college student loves to play online and began to use college money, credit cards, etc and within a few months exhausted all monies and attempted to end life. However other things can have the same result, drugs, smoking, etc. The answer is not to stop internet gambling for the majority who are in control, but rather for the organizations who profit from this to be taxed and some of that money go to rehab and preventive programs.
