Full Tilt Poker durrrr Challenge

Tom “durrrr” Dwan is one of the best online poker players in the world, and he will play anyone for any amount of money. He has challenged all poker players around the world and only a few have accepted his challenge; Phil Hellmuth had a chance to play against durrrr in the 2008 Heads-Up Championship and durrrr’s aggression at the table took Phil out of the tournament on the third hand they played. After that Phil insulted his opponent and durrrr challenged him to play again but Phil refused to play him.
Currently durrrr has a 50K hand challenge against another top playerand Full Tilt Poker pro, Patrik Antonius. After a 2 month break they played another session of their challenge yesterday. Their session lasted around two hours and a half and they logged 795 hands. Patrik was able to cut durrrr’s lead in $392,347.50 but Tom still has the lead after 21,442 hands have been played in the challenge.
In other news, the anonymous screen name at the FullTilt Poker high stakes tables Martonas hit another –EV day and lost $623K. All the railbirds around the world are wondering if Martonas has a big enough bankroll to keep playing at the nosebleed limits.

Excellent article. I`m not so sure if Durr`s aggression took Phil Hellmuth out as much as the fact him getting lucky with tens all in preflop against Phil`s pocket rockets in third hand. Phil lives with such a passion that sometimes he goes out of line like in this case. Durr`s play was standard play at HU. Next year Phil “revenged” and took the win against Durrr if I remember right? After saying that Tom Dwan definitely has constantly shown that he is a true poker phenomenon and deserves all the credit in the world. Such a amazing talent he is:)!
