Beginning this Friday, Full Tilt Poker will be opening up its wallets to give players free money during its Take 2 promotion.
The Take 2 promotion gives players of any bankroll a shot at adding some extra cash to their accounts. For earning five Full Tilt Points (FTPs) a day for five days during the Take 2 promotion, Full Tilt Poker will give players a $5 bonus. If a player is able to earn five FTPs in nine of the ten days of the promotion, Full Tilt will give them $25 in bonus money.
The Take 2 promotion looks to increase the traffic to Full Tilt Poker’s array of cash games. To be eligible to earn the daily points towards the Take 2 promotion, players must either play two cash game tables simultaneously or step into the Rush Poker rooms and play one table at any stake. The FTPs that a player earns will also be doubled during the Take 2 promotion.
Players will not automatically be enrolled in the promotion, however. Players who want to participate in Take 2 must go to the cashier’s screen after logging in, click on the “My Promotions” button, and then follow the instructions to enroll in Take 2.
With the daily requirement of five FTPs, pretty much any player can eclipse that mark in a short time of play, making it fairly easy to earn the $25 bonus. Players can use the double FTPs in the Full Tilt Poker Store for merchandise or in special sit and gos and multi-table tournaments. The Take 2 promotion runs for ten days and ends on April 17th.
In other Full Tilt Poker news, the most recent Double Guarantees Week wraps up today. During Double Guarantees Week, the prize pool for every guaranteed tournament was doubled in value. For Full Tilt Poker’s spate of Sunday guaranteed tournaments, such as the Sunday Brawl and the $750,000 Guaranteed, the purses were tripled. Thus, the weekly $750,000 Guaranteed will have a prize pool of at least $2.25 million.
For the big events today, the fields are already taking shape and should smash records set during Full Tilt Poker’s last Double Guarantees Week. The Sunday Brawl, which is offering a $1.2 million guaranteed prize pool, has already garnered 195 entries at the time of writing.
The $750,000 Guaranteed, featuring its whopping $2.25 million guaranteed prize pool, currently sits with 581 entries in the game.
