It is successfull because of the great players AND the analyses of their play between Benza and Gabe. A viewer can't come away from the show a loser. Benza, besides playing straight man for gabe's often hilarious jokes, asks the questions that 'we' all ask. 'We' being mom and dad while the kiddies are upstares whatching the show with their headphones on (asleep-LOL). Then there is the undecurrent of rift between AJ and Gabe, I have heard guys believe that is the real deal, that they don't like each other!!!LOL I guess that's why Kaplan canned Benza, right? No, Kaplan's been around too long and is too smart for that, but now without his sidekick you might as well set up Kaplan's studio in an empty parking lot. What a great atmosphere projected last season. You've lost it, the show, the money, the genius of the whole concept. Season 6 was a bust (we actually don't watch the show anymore if Benza's not on--rather watch a rerun any day). i can't believe you screwed this monster of a show into a peanut. But spectacle is found in loss just as in victory. And this season is a guaranteed spectacle Enjoy your latest season. Personally I would much rather enjoy the spectacle in victory, So please, bring Benza back and give my wife and I one single show that we both enjoy. Timothy J.
