Jonas “Nebuchad” Danielsson Interview with Poker News Daily

By Dan Cypra for POKER NEWS DAILY | Posted on August 18, 2008

Poker News Daily: Do you remember the very first time you logged on to Ladbrokes Poker?

Danielsson: It was summertime 2003 and a friend and I opened an account to play freerolls. Ladbrokes was celebrating 100 million hands and was running a freeroll to celebrate this milestone promotion at the time.

PND: In your opinion, what has made Ladbrokes Poker so popular with players over the years?

Danielsson: The software is great. The support is very good and there are never any problems when you need help. Cashing in and out is easy. The offline promotions that they run are also unbelievable in value.

PND: What is the biggest amount of money you have won to date online and offline?

Danielsson: About $3 million, give or take a few hundred thousand dollars.

PND: What major live poker events have you taken part in recently?

Danielsson: I was recently at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and also played in the Ladbrokes Poker Million heats in London. I am looking forward to playing in the European Poker Tour’s Barcelona and London events.

PND: What was the atmosphere like at the 2008 WSOP?

Danielsson: I’m really looking forward to the 2009 WSOP already. You get to meet so many people and have a lot of fun while playing in some of the largest tournaments anywhere. I honestly believe that the hospitality that comes with being a member of Team Ladbrokes is second to none.

PND: Other than playing tournaments, what other activities do you get involved with as a Ladbrokes sponsored pro?

Danielsson: I do charity work every now and then. I also do a variety of different promotions on the site. These could involve playing against a rake race winner or playing in a bounty tournament. I have been doing some coaching as well. There are a lot of different things the pros get involved with.
