Poker News Daily: Tell us about your decision to sign with Victory Poker, a USA-friendly site on the Everleaf Network.

Jonathan Little: It’s just a great site. I am friends with a lot of the guys on it. I think they’re going to make a big splash in the poker world.

PND: What makes Victory Poker such a good fit for you?

Jonathan Little: It’s a site where the poker players are actually influencing what goes on. Most of the sites are run by poker players who don’t play poker anymore. On Victory, the guys are making the decisions and playing poker. It’s a site run by the people.

PND: The future looks pretty bright for the site and we’ve seen a lot of Victory Poker pros like Antonio Esfandiari and Andrew “good2cu” Robl hit the small screen.

Jonathan Little: We have been getting on television a lot. We’re going to be doing a lot of work with charity tournaments and events around the WSOP, which will hopefully be helpful.

PND: Did Victory Poker approach you?

Jonathan Little: Yeah, they approached me. A few of the guys I know who were already with the site thought I’d be a good fit.

PND: How has poker been treating you?

Jonathan Little: Everything is going well. I won a $1,000 rebuy the other night at the Bellagio. I cashed in an $11 rebuy on PokerStars and finished sixth in another tournament I played. Things are going well.

PND: Tell us about the cash games on Victory Poker.

Jonathan Little: The cash games are great and the player pool is getting larger and larger. You can play up to €4/€8 No Limit Hold’em, which runs pretty often.

PND: What are your plans for the 2010 WSOP, which kicks off on May 28th from the Rio in Las Vegas?

Jonathan Little: I’m going to play a lot of the No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha events and maybe some of the Mixed stuff. I’m going to try to take it a little bit easier, maybe 28 or 30 tournaments total.

PND: The FTOPS and SCOOP schedules are back-to-back leading up to the WSOP. What are your thoughts on playing both series before the WSOP grind even begins?

Jonathan Little: I like playing a lot. It keeps me going. Online poker is a lot different than live poker. I prefer live poker because it’s less mentally stressful. When I sit at home, I play a lot of tables at a time and a lot more is going on. You’re constantly faced with decisions.

PND: Faraz “The-Toilet” Jaka and Jason Mercier have been on live heaters lately. Can you talk about their games?

Jonathan Little: Jason is a lot like a younger version of me. We get along well and I think he plays really well. Faraz is kind of a maniac. Jason is more controlled and doesn’t do anything ridiculous.

PND: The final table at the Bellagio tournament you won featured players like Alexandre “Allingomes” Gomes and Joe Beevers. Talk about your competition.

Jonathan Little: It was a relatively tough final table. The field that started was weak, but it was a weird series overall. There weren’t that many great players in any of the events because they were all over in Europe for the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final and San Remo.

PND: Why did you not make the trip to Monte Carlo?

Jonathan Little: I don’t like going overseas. Whenever you go, you lose a day. I don’t like giving away days. There’s enough going on in America that I don’t need to go overseas. Everything is more expensive and you don’t get to sleep in your own bed. If I go over there, it’ll be for a longer period of time.
