On today’s Daily Deal, Harrah’s announces how the final two seats to the WSOP Tournament of Champions will be assigned, poker stars tweet about the high life, Joe Sebok organizes a charity tournament, and Mike Matusow threatens to run naked down the street.

Hello, I’m Sean Gibson and welcome to the Daily Deal by Poker News Daily, brought to you by PokerSource.com.

The WSOP Tournament of Champions is the most prestigious poker tournament on Earth, and the world’s top poker stars are begging for votes to get a seat. However, the final two seats will be allotted to mere mortals like you and me. One seat will be available to U.K. residents through WSOP.com, where daily one dollar satellites are being held right now. Not much detail has been given about the other seat, but PND found out it will be awarded to a resident of North America and be given out through the voting process. The Tournament of Champions kicks off on June twenty seventh from the Rio in Las Vegas.

This week’s poker Tweets brought us pleasure and pain. Bad news first: WSOP Circuit event champion Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire sustained a sports related injury, and he tweeted nonstop until the paramedics came: “In the back of an ambulance, just got morphine, headed to sienna.” Fellow UB.com pro Adam “Roothlus” Levy voiced everybody’s thoughts: “Did you tweet before calling the paramedics?? Either way, feel better.”

On the other hand, Phil Hellmuth was having a blast filming a music video: “In Vegas on set of Ludacris video shoot for his song ‘Sex Room’ right now.” Fellow Full Tilt pro Erik Seidel tweeted what was in the mind of many: “My man @phil_hellmuth on Ludacris set, finally getting props for being a rap pioneer. He spit about bling, limos, + Dom b4 anyone.”

When we return, we’ll find out who inspired Andrew Robl and Joe Sebok to host a fundraiser, and avert our eyes as Mike Matusow threatens to wear his birthday suit on the Strip.

Full Tilt Poker will host a two-hundred plus one-hundred dollar charity tournament to raise funds for Thuy Doan, a cancer survivor who now requires a prosthetic leg. Full Tilt will donate the entire rake to Doan. Victory Poker pro Andrew “good2cu” Robl and UB.com’s Joe Sebok were two of the organizers of the fundraiser. Robl told Poker News Daily, “We’re hoping to raise $15,000, and that means we’ll need one hundred and fifty people to play.” The tourney will play out on Sunday, May sixteenth at five o’clock p.m. ET on Full Tilt Poker.

On the lighter side of the news, Mike Matusow may have made a claim we’ll ALL end up regretting on the last episode of Poker2Nite. Seeing that many female poker players have been on fire this year, WSOP Vice President Ty Stewart predicted that women would take home three bracelets at the two thousand and ten WSOP. Matusow disagreed, going as far as to declare: “If three women win a bracelet at the WSOP, I will run naked down the Strip with a camera behind me.” I’m going out on a limb here, but I doubt that anyone will want that on their facebook profile or their poker room avatar!
