overestimating own skills is what makes good players being "hired" by better players unconcously and the same backfire works for overconfidence in datamining software(if I wasnt clear trying to make my point above)

I think datamining takes away big part of fun, exitment and true spirit from playing poker and makes it just another way to simply make money for good players.Thats not who real poker player should be in my opinion. That being said I also think that people like Willy Fairway who advocate datamining that way are easy to beat by real poker players who use their own stat to manipulate it their way during play. Its just like average player going up stakes with overconfidence and being constantly "shaved" from their winings from lower stake winnings by better players .So after all hes right but only about balance part of that whole story with datamining.LOL

The final comment from Kenna James is totally laughable and ridiculous. Without "datamining" we never would have exposed the superusers at Ultimatebet, AbsolutePoker and Pitbull poker. What about all the multi-accounting that has happened and was exposed through hand histories? If the information is available to all, then there is no uncompetitive balance!
