The state does not inform the citizens of the law or it's consequences.

The state inappropriately advertised it's Lottery (more gambling) on the "Face the Ace" poker show which gave online poker players with the opportunity to play professionals on TV.

Being a Washington State resident, I see firsthand what has taken place in this state regarding online poker. Essentially, it is now illegal to play cards in the privacy and safety of your own home, but perfectly legal to venture out to the local Indian Casino and fully embrace all of the "perils" of gambling. I don't think it is any big secret that the politician who passed the gambling legislature took a hefty campaign donation from the Indian reservation. I hope and pray that the Supreme Court will read between the lines and realize that the issue is not about protecting the vulnerable citizens of Washington and their inability to govern their impulses but see that the issue comes down to what it usually comes down to in politics.... money. And not the kind that you take down by skillfully playing pocket jacks.
I won't even bother to go into the other elements of evil that are readily available to those who may not be able to handle their addictions..... alcohol, cigarettes, processed sugar, etc. I'm sure that all of those have ruined more lives than a game of Hold 'Em.
Mr. Rousso, if you need some company on your trip to the Supreme Court, give me a call.
