Today is the one-year anniversary of the launch of New Jersey’s regulated online gambling industry. It has significantly underperformed expectations, as it was projected to generate $1 billion in revenue but instead has only hit about one-tenth of that number. Nevertheless, it has still helped some of the casinos in Atlantic City and the state looks forward to a better year in 2015. One year is still a milestone, though, so the Party Borgata Network would like to do a little celebrating.

The highlight of the party (see what we did there?) is Sunday’s $10,000 Pro Bounty Multiplier tournament. The $200 tourney replaces the usual Sunday $50K, doubling the guaranteed prize pool to $100,000. On top of that, there will be three Team partypoker members with bounties on their heads, just waiting to hand out extra cash. Whoever knocks out Scott Baumstein, Jamie Kerstetter, or former New Jersey Devils defenseman Ken Daneyko will receive $100. In the unlikely event someone knocks out two of them, that person will get $1,000. And if somehow a person gets seated with all three, has a larger stack than them, and can beat each of them in a hand in which they commit all their chips, that very lucky player will receive a $10,000 cash prize.

The $10,000 Pro Bounty Multiplier will start at 5:00pm on Sunday, November 30th with late registration going until 8:20pm. The winner will take home at least $20,000, guaranteed.

All sorts of qualifiers are running this week so that players can get into the tournament on the cheap.

Also on Sunday, starting an hour after the $10,000 Pro Bounty Multiplier, is a $500 qualifier for the World Poker Tour (WPT) Five Diamond World Poker Tour Classic at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The top prize is a $12,000 WPT package which includes the $10,400 seat into the WPT event and $1,600 in cash to help defray travel costs (or for whatever the winner would like). Players can also satellite into the $500 tournament via the WPT Steps tourneys. Those who want to try to make it without paying a dime can start at Step 0 for just 10 points. This WPT qualifier is available only at the nj.partypoker.com site on the Party Borgata Network, not BorgataPoker.com.

Also this week, for people who prefer to gamble it up at casino games instead of poker, the network’s casino arm is giving players a 10 percent refund of losses up to $50 each day from November 24th through November 30th. To clarify, the maximum cash back amount is $50 every day, as opposed to the maximum amount of losses that qualify. Not that anyone is going to lose to the house, right?
