PokerStars has announced that it is bringing back the All-in Kitchen this year in conjunction with the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) stop in Bristol, England. The fun dining gimmick will be open July 27th through July 29th at Pata Negra, a highly-regarded Spanish tapas restaurant.

At the All-in Kitchen, customers will be able to gamble for their check by playing a few hands of poker. Pata Negra will have a special, poker-themed, three-course dinner prepared for the evening featuring the following:

* Big Blind Iberico Meats
* Three of a Kind Sweet Pepper, Courgette and Aubergine Skewer with Romesco Sauce
* The Pot – Dark Chocolate with Olive and Rosemary Shortbread

As you can see, it may be a gimmick, but this is no “Full House Bacon Cheeseburger” fare. This is gourmet stuff.

The meal will cost £18 (USD $28.10), so right off the bat, that’s actually not a bad price at all for a well-crafted multi-course meal like that. But those who have tickets for the All-in Kitchen and would like to participate can also play poker to cut into that price. After diners are seated, they get to play three poker hands. When all is said and done, the person who has the most chips remaining gets to eat for free. Completely free, no charge. The second place player receives a £10 discount and the third place player, despite being in dead last, will still receive a £5 discount off their bill.

Obviously, there is not going to be much skill in play, as it is only three hands, but there is absolutely no risk. It does not cost money to play, so it is not really a gamble. Anyone who has tickets to the All-in Kitchen will at worst pay £18 for the three-course meal. But that is if they choose not to play. As it costs no money to try three hands of poker, there is no reason not to play and get at least £5 taken off the bill.

As mentioned, those interested in dining at the All-in Kitchen later this month must have tickets. Tickets don’t cost anything, either, but are in limited supply and must be reserved in advance. Tickets are limited to two per person. For reservations, visit billeto.co.uk.

PokerStars will be the one footing the bill for the free meals. The UKIPT, as you may know, is sponsored and organized by the world’s largest poker room. UKIPT Bristol does not actually begin until August 5th, so the All-in Kitchen is just an “appetizer,” so to speak. The UKIPT Bristol Main £700 + £70 Main Event begins August 6th with the first of two starting flights and runs through August 9th.
