Not all poker rooms will get the chance to celebrate reaching their fortieth billion hand, but PokerStars is not the average poker room and they will be reaching the milestone this February. To celebrate, PokerStars has come up with many ways to reward their players.
There will be cash prizes for every player that is dealt into every millionth hand, the prizes will consist of $40 for every VPP they earn in the 40 hands played previously. PokerStars will also be awarding an extra VPP to all players dealt in, so players will walk out with a minimum profit of $40. Those players that win the hand will get their prize doubled.
As the 40th billionth hand approaches all players dealt into the previous 40 hands will receive $400 for every VPP earned and once the milestone hand is reached the winner of the hand will get double their prize, tens of thousands of dollars will be awarded so players should take advantage of such an outstanding promotion.
But the rewards will also be felt by the multi-table tournament players, the Sunday Million tourney that will be held on February 21st will receive a notable boost from a $1 million prize pool up to $4 million, there will be satellites running a week before the tourney stars so players will have plenty of time to qualify for a fraction of the cost.
There will be a bunch of special tournaments added to the tournament schedule during February to celebrate the milestone hand and one of those tournaments is the $40 Micro Million, which will have players battling for an outstanding prize pool for such a low buy-in. There will also be a series of FPP tournaments which will have a 40FPPs buy-in and $40K prize pools.
