PokerStars: Monday SCOOP Report



Despite some longer than expected tournament run times, PokerStars‘ Spring Championship of Online Poker continued Monday with nine more tournaments spread across three events.

First up were $1050, $109, and $11 2-7 TD events with $75K, $50K, and $25K respective guarantees. In the H, jmonnett came out on top to the tune of $36.4K while Unassigned took second for $24.5K and capoch third for $18.2K. The M was taken down by Buckeye 119 for $11.7K. HCAP took second for $8.6K and capoch third for $6.3K. In the L version, j3os8h came out on top, shipping $4.7K in the process.

Next on the schedule was a Stud H/L event that featured buy-ins of $2100, $215, and $22. The H tournament was taken down by Gunslinger3 for $65.4K, with Team PokerStars Pro Jorj95 taking second for $44.4K. In the M affiar*Matty*NYG and BIGtittititt chopped heads-up, getting $22K and $20K each. The L event saw LUFCBas come out on top to the tune of $9.7K, while Andy McLEOD took second for $6.8K and Jorj95 racked up $5K more for third.

Last on the schedule was a No Limit Hold’em event that boasted $1050, $109, and $11 tournaments. In the M showing, Benba emerged victorious, adding $66K to his PokerStars account. FrenchKiss91 took second for $49K while PHHSkid99 grabbed third for $34K. The low event saw *guerillaz* outlast 16497 other players, earning $17.8K in the process. As of this writing, the H event is currently still running with the following five players still alive after over 20 hours of play: gboro780, fkasbergen, psuNYY51, nicelife, and Nickdawgg. $151K will be awarded to the winner.
