Being the biggest online poker site has its spoils, not the least of which is the fact that you can offer the juiciest action night in and night out. While Full Tilt Poker might have featured the $1K Monday last night, PokerStars had their own slew of great tournaments.
First on the schedule was the afternoon $11 Daily Thirty Grand, which garnered a staggering 6052 entrants and paid out 900 spots. At the end of its lengthy eight and a half hour run-time, u2lost emerged victorious, taking home $7.5K for his efforts. Jroszkow lost the heads-up battle and settled on $5K for second, while zouloo earned $3.5K for third. A few hours later, TheRealMT bested a field of 2273 players in the $55 Daily Eighty Grand, an accomplishment that was worth $18K. 235467 cashed in second place for $13.5K, while deyminenow grabbed $9.5K for third.
In higher stakes action, michblue earned himself $24.5K for winning the $162 Nightly Hundred Grand, while tbt4653 took $17.5 for second and YouGoBroke $13K for third. Rounding out the final table were ACE OF WAX ($10K), PURPLE”K”99 ($7K), ThinkB$Urail ($5.5K), msu99 ($4K), xiandan ($3K), and redbob14 ($1.7K). Meanwhile, Vash1982 capped off a great night of tournaments on PokerStars by winning the $55 Nightly Seventy Grand, which was worth nearly $14K. KennyZh lost the heads-up battled and settled on the second place prize of $10.5K, while Hagis99 took third for $8K.
