One can play the horses, bingo, the lottery, etc.....but not cards. As a Texas resident for over 30 years, and a PPA member, this philosophy has always puzzled me. Poker is definately a game of skill as it is NOT in just the hand if the player chooses to play it. However, it is how well the player manipulates his opponent/s to win a pot. In the betting, reading the other players,.....how the player presents himself in his decision making. GO JOSE' !
