You can use your iPad now if you get an Ipad app to remote login to another computer and use it to run your poker software.

Regarding the cliam apple hasn't allowed true gambling apps. I lost £200 real money last Saturday betting England would beat scottland in the rugby. I made the bet in the pub five mins before kick off through a native app called ibetting which links into betfair. That's alls we need a native app that uses the data feed from a poker site. My wish is a single table of rush poker full screen on the ipad from fulltilt. A company who don't appear to be too bothered about the law in the states. And as for apple. Why can't they limit to countries where the app would be legal. There are millions of us playing poker outside the US and there's money to be made. The ipad is an absolute killer platform for poker. Not just out and about. I'd play one table of rush laid on my sofa on the ipad rather than sit at my iMac.

Don't dismiss all of the cheaper PC-Based tablets that will be cheaper and more fully featured and lower cost than the iPad. (Only Apple can make people drool over a computer without Adobe Flash and a card drive, amongst other things; this is a testament to great marketing, awesome industrial design and superior UI design!)

Well, considering Apple has never allowed a true gambling application, I can't see them approving any online poker client ever (at least until it's officially legal in the US). They have a very closed system, what Steve says goes, so don't count on it. The best way we'll be able to use this and play would be with a telnet from the App store. 30 beans gets you a great one, and it works great on the iPhone, so it'll work great on iPad.
