Fresh off joining the Microgaming Network two years ago, Unibet will adopt Microgaming’s downloadable casino platform, the company announced on Thursday. A press release distributed by Microgaming noted, “The move will see Unibetcasino.com players gain access to the best games in the business, including Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The Osbournes and Hitman – three of the industry’s biggest licensing deals.” Meanwhile, Unibet is gearing up for its Unibet Open Milan tournament, which is scheduled for September 19th through 21st in the Italian city. The event has a projected prize pool of €450,000 and has become the centerpiece of the online poker room’s promotional offering.

By signing onto a giant network like Microgaming, Unibet gives its casino customers access to one of the largest progressive jackpots in existence. It currently sits at just below €7 million. In a press release, Unibet CEO Petter Nylander stated, “Since joining the Microgaming Poker Network, we’ve enjoyed a strong working partnership, and so this decision has actually been straightforward.
