2026 World Series of Poker Main Event Broadcast Coverage Will Be Free

Main Event final table schedule still a question mark

When GGPoker released the schedule for the 2026 World Series of Poker last week, it gave the public almost all the information it needed on the summer poker spectacular. A couple pieces were missing: the exact schedule for the final table and the broadcast viewing options for the Main Event.

Thanks to an interview with Daniel Negreanu by Poker.org, those question marks are coming into focus.

In the 2026 WSOP schedule announcement, it was explained that the Main Event would run July 2 through July 13, at which point the final table would be determined. But that was it – the final table schedule would be released at a later date. If it were to follow past schedules, there would likely be a day off and then the final table would span two days.

But because of the mystery and because the FIFA World Cup will be going on at the same time, some speculated that this year, the WSOP might go back to a “November Nine” schedule and delay the final table.

Additionally, the WSOP said that the action will be streamed for free on YouTube up until the Main Event, so people have been wondering what will happen for those two key weeks.

No more paywalls

Daniel Negreanu, who is an ambassador for GGPoker, the owner of the World Series of Poker, told Poker.org that the final table will not be a November Nine, but he still left it vague, saying, “….it’s not what you think it is, ok?”

So of course, people are still going to speculate that the 2026 WSOP Main Event final table will still be delayed at least a little bit. Otherwise, the WSOP would have laid out the timing for us, right? Right?

As to the Main Event broadcast, it’s great news. While Negreanu did not give much in the way of specifics, he did say that live coverage will be free. And more than that, there will be multiple streams each day of the WSOP showing different tournaments. Since PokerGO took over from ESPN, poker fans had to subscribe to the poker streaming service to watch the Series.

“What we are going to do is really showcase the Main Event,” Negreanu told the poker media outlet. “No more paywalls. You’re getting streams every day, and I think everybody’s going to be happy about that.”

“You won’t be missing any moments. From what it sounds like, [there will be] multiple feeds, so if there are two events going on at the same time, you’ll be able to choose or watch both,” Negreanu added. “The key historical moments that make the WSOP special won’t be at a side table nobody knows about. It’s going to celebrate the prestige of the bracelet.”
