Full Tilt Poker Riding High on Sundays

Full Tilt Poker experienced another successful Sunday as all of their major ‘Guaranteed’ tournaments far exceeded expectations. The flagship Sunday tournament, the 6:00pm EST $750K guaranteed boasted the largest prize pool it has seen all summer, with 4,401 players putting up the $200+$16 entry fee in hopes of taking home the $155,434 first prize.

Full Tilt’s “Sunday Brawl” also saw a spike in attendance as its field grew to 2,600 players in this unique, high stakes bounty tournament. In addition to the $105,560 first prize that awaited the tournaments champion, every player had a shot at some additional cash because $40 was sent to their account for every player they knocked out. A contemporary to PokerStars’ Sunday “Warm-Up”, the “Brawl” is quickly becoming one of the most popular tournaments on the internet.

The success wasn’t limited to the mid-day majors: the Sunday night “Mulligan” beat its $200,000 guarantee by nearly $70,000 and the 9pm EST $100 Turbo Rebuy with an $85K Guarantee, more than doubled it with a total prize pool exceeding $175K. The unique “Double Deuce” tournament, a $22 buy-in double stack saw over 11,000 players enter, giving the low to mid-stakes player a shot at some serious money.

With their impressive array of tournaments and rising prize pools, Full Tilt Poker is really showing its dedication to online poker tournaments.
