Helix Poker Joining Forces with Hand Recording App Poker Elephant

One of the most difficult things for a poker player to do is to accurately track critical hands during a live session. Whether a cash game or tournament, these hand histories can help a poker player to improve their game but only if there is an accurate accounting of how the hand played out – there’s nothing worse than not being able to recall stack sizes, positions, and the cards that came out. A popular poker tournament series is trying to change that by joining forces with a hand recording app that can be used on any Android or iOS cell phone.

Helix Poker, Poker Elephant Joining Forces

Lena Evans, the Chief Executive Officer of Helix Poker, a tournament organizing company and marketing firm, announced the new partnership with the mobile phone app Poker Elephant on Friday. Evans, a two-time World Series of Poker Circuit ring winner, stated, “Poker Elephant is a fantastic learning tool for players of any level. With the app, players can sharpen their game by reviewing hands and bets with friends and social media to get suggestions on other options for playing them. The app also offers a powerful platform for marketing and advertising.”

“We will certainly be incorporating the app into all our marketing efforts across my various business lines,” Evans concluded.

“We are thrilled to receive the recognition and financial participation of Lena Evans and Helix Poker,” said Elisa Fair, the developer of Poker Elephant and Chief Executive Officer of the company. “In addition to being an impressive cash and tournament player, Lena is deeply connected in multiple areas of the poker industry and considered a top marketing professional.  We look forward to building our relationship and the expansion of Poker Elephant.”

Multiple Uses for Poker Elephant

Poker Elephant – called such because an elephant never forgets – isn’t a game that you play on your cell phone. It is actually a tool that can be utilized during live action on the tables, saving the hand play accurately for future discussion with those friends that you discuss poker (of course, you still have to enter the information). Poker Elephant also has several interesting features that can make it a worthwhile tool for your poker toolbox.

For an additional fee, players can submit their hands for analysis by two players who have a wealth of experience in the game. Four-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Jeff Madsen offers his expertise to help players analyze their game. Joining Madsen in helping Poker Elephant customers is Melanie Weisner, who has racked up almost a million dollars in career earnings from tournaments around the world. In her career, Weisner has cashed in 71 tournaments, including 36 times at the WSOP.

Unlike some programs, Poker Elephant is useful across many of the disciplines of poker. Poker Elephant naturally works with Texas Hold’em and Omaha Hold’em, but it also can be used for Seven Card Stud (and its Hi/Lo variant), Razz, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw and even mixed games like H.O.R.S.E. There isn’t a cost to download Poker Elephant but, to take full advantage of its capabilities, there are in-app purchases that the user can choose to make.

If you’re looking for a tool that might help your poker game – or at least help you to talk about your poker game accurately – then Poker Elephant might be the tool you need. The app is available on Google Play and the App Store (for Apple users out there). To learn more about the app, you can visit Poker Elephant to learn more.
