WSOP.com Online Circuit Kicks Off Next Week

Starting next Monday, poker players in New Jersey and Nevada can take a swing at a World Series of Poker Circuit ring without leaving their bedrooms. From February 25th through March 8th, WSOP.com is hosting the WSOP.com Online Circuit. The site is awarding 13 official Circuit rings in 13 days, with total guaranteed prize pools of more than $1 million.

And because this is an actual WSOP Circuit stop, albeit not a physical one, players will earn points based on how they finish in each of the 13 events. The player who earns the most points during the Online Circuit will be crowned the “Casino Champion” and will win a seat in the Global Casino Championship.

The player who wins the $525 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event on March 8th will also grab a Global Casino Championship seat.

WSOP.com will also be holding a Mega Satellite on March 7th with 20 seats guaranteed to the Online Circuit Main Event.

The Global Casino Championship will be at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina in August 2020. In addition to each Casino Champion and Main Event winner, the top 50 players on the 2019-2020 season leaderboard earn free entries.

Select players are also permitted to buy-in directly for $10,000. These players include the top 100 ranked players in the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year standings and any ring winner from the current Circuit season. Nobody else can enter the tournament, paid or otherwise.

Last year’s Global Casino Championship winner was Ryan Eriquezzo from Danbury, Connecticut. He won $279,431 at Harrah’s Cherokee, along with a WSOP gold bracelet.
