PKR.com Launches Online TV Channel

PKR.com enters the next phase in poker television with an interactive internet TV channel dedicated to broadcasting episodes of their popular PKR TV series.

PKR.com is famous in the industry for its realistic 3D graphics and cutting edge software. They have taken it one step further with PKR TV, a show featuring highlights of their animated final tables in their highest stakes tourneys. The newly unveiled PKR.tv provides on-demand access to PKR’s episode library, with all content “available to stream in superb quality, high resolution format.” PKR TV episodes are captured weekly from PKR’s largest tournaments: the Tuesday and Thursday $10,000 Guaranteed and the Saturday ‘$20,000 Guaranteed TV Showdown’. The footage features expert analysis and commentary from the PKRcast Team, which includes James Bach, Colin Morris and Brett Anthill.

The avant-garde PKR TV shows feature state of the art digital animation, taking online poker to a higher graphic level. PKR TV episodes are currently being broadcast in Europe on the Poker Channel and CNBC Europe among others. Since its launch, PKR TV has attracted over 7000 visits with an average duration of over 30 minutes.

PKR’s Marketing Director, Simon Prodger said,

“The new site allows anyone to view any episode of PKR TV at their leisure. Our ultimate aim is to build the largest ever library of poker TV material and we shall soon be adding new formats to the current crop to offer more variety.”

After recently winning the “Hotshot Operator of the Year” Award at the eGaming Review Industry Awards, PKR is going all out to retain its position at the top of the gaming industry. Besides the innovative PKR TV, PKR is also launching its first live event soon, with qualifiers running every day of the week.
