The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is back for the second time at the resurrected Full Tilt Poker. FTOPS XXII is set to begin on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, and will run two weeks, concluding with the $600 + $40 Main Event on the final day of the month.
FTOPS XXII features 38 tournaments and a $10 million guaranteed combined prize pool (three events and $425,000 have yet to appear on the schedule). The priciest tourney is a $1 million guaranteed, two-day event that commences on the penultimate day of the series: a $2,000 + $100 re-entry tournament with antes from the very first hand. The first day will end after Level 17 unless the money bubble has burst; in that case, play will continue until everyone remaining has made the money.
Most buy-ins range from $100 + $9 to $300 + $22. All events have satellites running on Full Tilt Poker.
As usual, there are prizes in addition to money. Everyone who reaches the final table of an FTOPS XXII tournament will get a limited edition FTOPS jacket. Those who win an event will receive the jacket, a gold FTOPS jersey, and a gold jersey avatar for use on Full Tilt’s virtual tables. The skilled player who ends up atop the FTOPS leaderboard will be given a custom Full Tilt avatar plus a prize package which includes buy-ins to every FTOPS XXIII event, except the two-day event.
