With the recent live tournaments that took place in London, Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Full Tilt Pro Patrik Antonius have been in the same city, which has apparently put them in the mood to play a few sessions for the durrrr challenge.

The challenge started with a great pace but it has since slowed down, perhaps caused by durrrr’s big down swing at the beginning of the year.

Railbirds and poker players around the world have mentioned in the top online forums that the challenge would take just too much time at its current pace, and some were even less optimistic that the players would reach 25K hands before durrrr bailed out of the challenge.

Considering that durrrr’s bankroll took a $4.2 million hit earlier in the year, he has managed to overcome that tough challenge get back to almost even.

The latest session logged 1,063 hands and durrrr started it on the right foot when he took down $194K pretty early on. The session had ups and downs for each player but at the end durrrr finished $418K which propelled his lead to $697K.
