The World Series of Poker has announced that registration for this summer’s WSOP will open on Thursday, April 13. The Series begins on May 30 and runs through July 18.

Caesars recommends players use the online registration system, which will be at bravopokerlive.com (the site does not work right now because registration is not open yet). Players will be required to create a login and password, which can also be used for other venues and events that use the site. Those who have created an account previously don’t need to make a new one.

Online payments can be made with a credit card and ACH for tournament buy-ins $10,000 and under. Wire transfer and cashier’s check are also options and will work for higher buy-in events.

Those registering online will need to visit the Champagne Ballroom at Paris Las Vegas once to verify their registration, including presenting valid identification. After that, players can use self-service kiosks to print their seat cards. All details can be found at wsop.com/registration.

Caesars is also giving players the opportunity to book their entire WSOP trip, including flight and lodging, in one purchase at bravopokerlive.com.

“This year’s WSOP is poised to break records with an unprecedented range of options to qualify for and attend the WSOP Main Event, widely recognized as the World Championship of poker,” said World Series of Poker Senior vice president and executive director Ty Stewart in Monday’s announcement. “We’re excited to offer players an effortless and cost-effective way to book their entire trip to Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas as they set their sights on becoming poker royalty this summer.”

Caesars claims that the Caesars Rewards Travel Bundle will save people money over booking everything piecemeal. And even if it doesn’t, it certainly seems like it could be an easy way to get everything taken care of at once. Those who book through Caesars will receive Caesars Rewards.

In its second year on the Las Vegas Strip at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally’s), the WSOP touts the largest capacity in its history, with 608 tables. Series organizers expect to break attendance records in 2023.

And they could be right. Live poker has been booming since casinos emerged from the pandemic shutdowns and capacity restrictions. Last year’s WSOP Main Event attracted 8,663 entrants, just 110 short of the record, set in 2006, just before the UIGEA broke internet poker in the United States. The 2022 World Series of Poker also awarded almost $350 million in prize money, making it the richest WSOP ever.
