Dimat Enterprises announced that poker player and author Jeff Hwang will release two new books on Pot Limit Omaha strategy. Both books are expected to be released next year, with the first coming out in the Spring. His first book, “Pot Limit Omaha Poker: The Big Play Strategy,” has become a rousing success after its introduction last year.

“Pot-Limit Omaha Poker” was published by Citadel and was released on January 1, 2008. It is 332 pages in length and available on Amazon.com for $10.17 with an original list price of $14.95. Renowned poker author Lou Krieger left the following comment on Amazon, sharing his thoughts on the book: “Lucid, literate, and comprehensive. Dissects the complexities of this game and explains why big play strategy is the winning strategy.” CardPlayer Magazine contributor Bob Ciaffone also remarked, “This book is very accurate technically and a great addition to poker literature.”

Hwang is also a columnist for “The Motley Fool,” a popular financial forum. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and, like Ciaffone, also writes for CardPlayer. Hwang joins a well-known cast that has released books for Dimat Enterprises. Matthew Hilger released “Texas Hold’em Odds and Probabilities.” He also wrote and published “The Poker Mindset” with co-author Ian Taylor. Three prominent online poker players recently released “Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time: Volume I” under Dimat’s guidance. The three who wrote that book consisted of Eric “Rizen” Lynch, Jon “PearlJammer” Turner, and Jon “Apestyles” Van Fleet.

Scheduled to be released by Hilger is “Internet Texas Hold’em: Winning Strategies for Full-Ring and Short-handed Games, New Expanded Edition.” Interested customers will be able to find the book in stores in November.

In other publishing news, scheduled to come out this fall is “The Final Table: Volume 2,” which is authored by Bernard Lee. The book encompasses hands from his popular poker column of the same name that appears in the Boston Herald newspaper, along with additional analysis and insight provided by Lee. Both will be available just in time for the holidays.

On Amazon.com, some of the top-rated books that Hwang will have to contend with in 2009 include Dan Harrington’s marquee publication “Harrington on Hold ’em: Ex Strategy for No Limit Tournaments” and “The Theory of Poker” by David Skalnsky. Other highly-rated poker strategy books include Doyle Brunson’s “Super System” and Gus Hansen’s “Every Hand Revealed.” Brunson’s book is one of the benchmarks by which all other poker literature is measured.

Super System” includes chapters written by Bobby Baldwin, David Sklansky, Chip Reese, and “The Mad Genius of Poker” Mike Caro. Brunson also released “Super System 2,” which features analysis from Team Pokerstars Pro member Daniel Negreanu, World Poker Tour founder Lyle Berman, ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Johnny Chan, Full Tilt Poker pro Jennifer Harman, his son Todd, and WSOP bracelet winner Crandell Addington. It was released by Cardoza Publishing, which has published books by Tom McEvoy, T.J. Cloutier, and Negreanu.

TwoPlusTwo is also one of the major publishing houses. Its roster of authors includes David Sklansky, Mason Malmuth, Ed Miller, Ray Zee, Dan Harrington, Colin Moshman, and Bill Robertie. Dimat Enterprises has five books scheduled for release in 2009.
