Finnish player Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies is considered one of the most aggressive high stakes players at Full Tilt Poker. He usually likes to trashtalk when he is playing live, but claims that he does it only for entertainment. The player that introduced Ziigmund to the game of poker was his friend and also Finnish player Patrik Antonius.

Ziigmund has participated in popular TV shows like High Stakes Poker and Poker After Dark, where he has played against some of the top players in the world.

Sahamies has some bad habits that have cost him significant amounts of money at the poker tables in the past years, but after correcting those bad habits his bankroll has benefited from his aggressive style of play. For 2008 his online earnings at Full Tilt Poker exceeded $1.4 million, and for 2009 his bankroll has been on the rise since March. But today on the tables at Full Tilt Poker, Phil Ivey got the better of him.

Phil Ivey played outstanding poker, and won more than $800K at the expense of Ziigmund. By the end of the sessions Phil recorded almost $1 million in profit.

Other players at the high stakes tables were: Gus Hansen, Cole South, and Paul “OMGClayAiken” Galfond.
