PokerStars

Shaun Deeb has been around at the virtual felts for quite a while now and is well known as a great tournament player. In 2006, he finished in third place at the Yearly TLB at PokerStars, and then in both ’07 and ’08 he topped the leaderboard, which is in amazing feat.

Shaun Deeb received the PokerStars Passport, which consisted of a five stamp passport that allowed him to choose five live tournaments in which he wanted to represent PokerStars, including the WSOP main event.

Deeb participated in several European Poker Tour tournaments that have been played in the past months.  Even though he performed adequately, he was not able to win any tournaments.

As a result of his furious pace of the last few years, Shaun has announced that he is tired of poker tournaments in general and that he will be retiring from tournaments for the time being.  Apparently his motivation is gone and he just doesn’t have that momentum that kept him going for two years in a row to the top of the Yearly TLB at PokerStars.  It looks like Shaun has decided to take a break from his multi-tabling sessions and is looking for some time to relax.  The good news come to all the other PokerStars players as they will now have a better chance at coveted PokerStars Passport with Shaun Deeb out of the way.
