Titan Poker, the iPoker network’s flagship site and one of Europe’s biggest, recently released a new version of their client software. Chief among the updates are the implementation of Razz games, a new Flash version of the site that supports Mac users, and the inclusion of five languages: Hungarian, portuguese, Romanian, Czech, and Greek. Additionally, Titan Poker also introduced a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing website and a new brand logo to coincide with the launch.
Another noteworthy change from the Titan Poker camp includes a promise to further develop the Titan poker Academy, a poker guide aimed at beginners that focuses on bankroll management, game selection, and the more in-depth math calculations necessary to all poker players.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect about the launch is Titan Poker’s showcase on the World Challenge 2010, which is an international poker tournament that offers the top five Titan Poker players a chance to represent their country. Prior to this year’s World Series of Poker,Titan Poker will hold a tournament for the finalists in which a $13K package for the WSOP Main Event will be up for grabs.
Not only does Titan Poker have a great new software, they also have an awesome schedule of nightly tournaments. At 7pm GMT Titan Poker hosts a $30 freeze-out event, and then 45 minutes later (from Monday-Thursday) there’s also a $50 $50K Guaranteed rebuy event. For high-rollers, each night of the week features a different event at 8:45 GMT: on Mondays a $40,000 GP freeze-out ($500+30), on Tuesdays a $40,000 GP rebuys ($100+9), on Wednesdays a $20,000 GP rebuys ($100+9), on Thursdays a $30,000 GP rebuys ($200+15), and on Fridays another freeze-out, this time a $20,000 GP Double Stack ($300+20).
