Tom “durrrr” Dwan, recently signed by Full Tilt Poker, had a great run in London at the Live Million Dollar Challenge. The rules of the challenge stipulate that players must play 500 hands or go broke before ending the match.

Dwan’s first opponent was Marcello “luckexpress” Marigliano who played well and eventually got the better of durrrr. When 500 hands had been played, luckexpress was up $22,500.  The following day durrrr played Ilari “ziigmund” Sahamies. When things got underway in the second match durrrr was definitely not feeling well after getting no sleep the previous night due to a marathon 12 hour session he played against online poker sensation Isildur1. But durrrr managed to put himself together and eventually beat Sahamies for $68K.

Dwan had to get a good nights rest if he wanted to play Sammy “Any Two” George. The third match started with durrrr fully rested and ready to take on his challenger. Sammy never had a chance and the match ended with durrrr taking George for an astounding $750K, $10K of wich came when Dwan bluffed all-in with 7-2 to win the seven-deuce side-bet. Sammy asked for a re-match but it has not been confirmed.
