The Warsaw event has turned out to be a very interesting tournaments with some extremely tough table draws.  One tough battle is taking place at the table where Carter Phillips is demonstrating his aggressive style.  He currently holds the chip lead and is bullying his fellow poker players at the table, and the best part of it all is that some players at his table have the skill and experience to give him a run for their money as he is sharing the table with PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri, Scotty Nguyen and Luca Pagano.

Day two brought hard news for team PokerStars Pro Alexander Kravchenko, who was the first player to hit the rail today.  He had the unfortunate luck to push his remaining chips (six thousand) while holding pockets sixes only to run into Alexander Debrus’ pocket eights.  The board did not improve either hand so the eights held-up.

The reigning WSOP champion Peter Eastgate is currently nursing a small stack after losing  a healthy portion of his chips to Olaf de Zeeuw.

In other PokerStars news, there are new tournaments running that will award tickets to the Toronto Maple Leafs home games.  Players that enjoy watching hockey have a new excuse to play poker on Wednesday nights.
