The European Poker Tour London events kick off today with a high roller tournament that boasts an impressive list of players including PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson and Ashton Griffin.

Day one of the high roller event looks quite promising for all the PokerStars pros since six of the first 15 positions are taken by members of the PokerStars team. The current chip lead is held by Adolfo Vaeza from Uruguay, the runner-up is the 2009 November nine finalist Joe Cada. He has had an outstanding year with two cashes in his first appearance at the WSOP, not to mention his pending third cash after the final table of the 2009 WSOP main event on November 11th.

Other notables include: Juha Helppi who has over $2.4 million in live tournament earnings, Vadim Trincher who won event #11 at the WPT season 7 for $731K, the 2004 WSOP main event champion Greg Raymer, professional poker player Jani Sointula who has over $1 million in live tournament earnings, the 2003 WSOP main event champion Chris Moneymaker, and the 2005 WSOP main event champion Joe Hachem.
