Tom “durrrr” Dwan is considered to be among the best poker players in the world, and this year has been a veritable seesaw for him.  At the beginning of the year he had one of the biggest downswings in his career, which took his bankroll into red numbers for almost 4 million dollars.  He managed to win back his losses and on top of that profit with 1.4 million in only four months, which is pretty impressive.  After that point he slowly dropped money as the months passed, but in a much more controlled manner until yesterday when his negative EV numbers got out of hand and he was dropping big amount of cash at an outstanding rate.  durrrr lost yesterday $1.1 million playing Pot Limit Omaha at the Full Tilt tables against Phil Ivey, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Patrik Antonius.

It didn’t take long for durrrr to drop such a huge among of cash: Ivey and friends took advantage of the situation in about 900 hands.  At the end of the session Ivey and Ziigmund increased their bankrolls with $450K each, and Antonius managed to take $200K from durrrr as well.

Tom lost many big pots in the session, which at the levels he plays in means that he can have a terrible downswing in a short session.  His lost yesterday puts him below $1.5 million, which means that he will have to win back his losses and earn extra cash if he wants to end the year with positive numbers on his Full Tilt account.
