It seems like the 2023 World Series of Poker just finished – probably because it did – but Caesars and WSOP officials aren’t wasting any time. Striking while the iron is hot, the organizations have announced the dates for the 2023 World Series of Poker Europe. Once again, the best in European poker will gather at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, for a 15-tournament schedule that will feature a guarantee on every event.

Million Euro Guaranteed “Opener” Kicks Off Festivities

Beginning on October 25, the WSOP Europe will hold its festivities over a 25-day schedule. To start the action, a €350 buy-in tournament – the WSOP-E “Opener,” so to speak – will take place. This tournament has a €1 million guaranteed prize pool placed on it, which should ensure that a huge gathering will be in attendance at the King’s Resort.

Guarantees are the name of the game at the 2023 WSOP-E. There are €15 million in guarantees across the fifteen tournaments on the schedule, up from the €12 million that was in place for 2022. The lowest guarantee will be for the €2000 Eight Game Mixed Tournament (which will feature a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool), while the largest guarantee will naturally be with the Main Event of the 2023 WSOP-E (a €5 million guaranteed prize pool).

“We’re absolutely thrilled to continue hosting the most prestigious tournament series in Europe, this year offering even higher guaranteed prize pools and new exciting events,” Leon Tsoukernik, the owner of King’s Resort, stated during the announcement of the festival. Ty Stewart, the Executive Director and Senior Vice President of the WSOP, echoed those sentiments in saying, “The buzz surrounding poker has surged following this year’s Main Event in Vegas…and we’re not stopping at setting twelve new records. We expect the WSOP Europe to ride the momentum and break its Main Event record once again this year.”

2023 WSOP International Circuit Schedule Also Announced

In conjunction with the announcement of this year’s fun at the King’s Resort, Caesars and WSOP officials also unveiled the roster of tournaments for the 2023-24 WSOP International Circuit. These tournaments, much like their counterpart in the U. S., offer the prestige of earning a WSOP title (which can be utilized to enter the WSOP Tournament of Champions freeroll next year) for a lower cost. These are the events and the dates that the WSOP International Circuit will visit over the next year.
