In a report from Poker News Daily, Bryn Kenney was said to have moved his career live-tournament winnings beyond $90 million with a seven-figure finish in the $100,000 King’s Charity Super High Roller at the King’s Poker Cup in Jeju, South Korea, adding to his cushion atop The Hendon Mob’s all-time money list.
According to Poker News Daily, Kenney and Jesse Lonis agreed to split the remaining prize money, with both players taking home $1.6 million after Kenney reached heads-up play with about a 2.5-to-1 chip edge. Poker News Daily reported that the event concluded when Lonis moved in with K♣2♠ and Kenney called with J♥10♥; Kenney paired his ten on the flop and stayed ahead through the river. In the finishing order reported by Poker News Daily, Elton Tsang earned $880,000 for third place, Xuanyi Wang received $630,000 for fourth, and Xing was listed in fifth for $450,000.
The Poker News Daily report listed Tom Dwan in sixth place for $350,000 and said the cash was his first tournament payout since a 593rd-place showing in the 2024 WSOP Main Event. Poker News Daily also noted that Kenney is the only player to have gone past $70 million, $80 million, and now $90 million in live tournament earnings.
Per Poker News Daily, Stephen Chidwick is roughly $11 million back of Kenney and sits about $1 million shy of the $80 million threshold, while Jason Koon, credited with $77 million in live earnings, is the only other player above $70 million.
As noted by Poker News Daily, the King’s Poker Cup and K Poker Cup at Les A Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World are set to continue through August 10.
