Spotting theASHMAN103 at the high stakes tables at Full Tilt is nothing new, he was been giving some of the best players in the world a hard time at the tables, and despite his young age he has demonstrated to have the skill to sit at the nosebleed tables against players like Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Patrick Antonius and other Full Tilt pros and high stakes regulars.

His poker career has only two cashes in live tournaments, since most of his remarkable winnings have come from online play. His first experience with online poker took him for a roller coaster ride and captured his attention and he eventually quit the books to dedicate his time to playing poker online. He quickly build a bankroll that allowed him to play higher limits but being underrolled and hitting a downswing caused severe damage to his total bankroll and he had to stop playing and re-group his strategy in order to succeed at the higher limits.

His first year at the tables was ’08 and he ended the year in negative numbers, his roller coaster ride that year had him playing some of the best players at the nosebleed stakes and that cost him an almost $700K deficit.

For ’09 he took things much slower and despite a lost of about $250K in January he managed to return to the tables a few months later to start crushing the competition and ended the year with a remarkable profit that exceeded $3.5 million.

His start in 2010 has kept that same momentum as the past year and he was won almost $200K in only six days at the tables.

Ashton’s story is interesting since he was down to only $784 dollars at one point and he has managed to return to the virtual felts with impressive success. His determination and skill at the tables have shown his opponents he certainly has the skill to play against the world’s best players.
