The Bodog Poker Open (BPO) V returns at the end of September and the online poker room will offer something for every player this time around. Bodog’s largest series of the year will have two different ways to achieve poker glory and a spot in the Bodog Poker Open Hall of Fame: The Championship Series, for players with sizeable bankrolls and a thirst for big money, and the Contender Series, which will offer smaller buy-ins and larger fields for the average poker enthusiast.

The BPO V tournaments run from September 26th to October 3rd, with satellites to each event running daily in September. Players can win seats to an event for a little as $1 by qualifying through a satellite. Bodog will be also giving away 38 guaranteed seats to the $500 Championship Series Main Event on Saturday, October 2nd, a day before the Main Event kicks off.

The Championship Series begins on September 26th with a $109 No Limit Hold’em event with $15,000 added to the prize pool. In total, the BPO preliminary events will offer more than $55,000 in added and guaranteed cash and the Main Event on October 3rd will have a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000.

For players that don’t have the bankroll to take part in the Championship Series, Bodog will be offering a Contender Series with smaller buy-ins. It kicks off on Sunday, September 26th with an $11 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament and concludes with a $50 Main Event on October 3rd with a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The eight Contender Series Events offer more than $35,000 in guaranteed cash up for grabs.

On top of the prize money, Championship Series event winners will earn a seat into the $500 Championship Main Event. The Championship Series Main Event winner will also receive a Corum Championship watch valued at more than $5,000.
