Although UB.com is a smaller site that doesn’t get nearly the same amount of traffic as PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, they still try to pull out all the stops on Sundays with their Major, the 200K Guaranteed.
This past Sunday, UB.com saw their biggest tournament get 1093 entrants, which bumped the prize-pool to almost $219K. When play reached the final table, the first three players to exit were BOBBYFYI, 1GOLEAFSGOEH1, and LS2_POWER, who earned $3.5K, $5K, and $7K, respectively. Next to bite the dust were THUNDER55555 ($9.5K), BONZO9876 ($11.5K), and ARE THESE UTZ ($14K). MORRIGANE finished in third, which was worth $19.5K, while DRUNKSAVAGE cashed in second for $28K.
The winner of UB.com’s $200K Guaranteed was Carter King, a player who needs no introduction to the poker world. His win was worth $48K, a number that pales in comparison to some of his prior accomplishments. King has victories in the WCOOP Main Event for $1.2 million, and the Sunday Million for $193K. All told, Carter King has nearly $2 million in online poker tournament winnings.
