Online gaming software developer, Cryptologic, announced last week that it has signed a contract to be the exclusive software provider for BetJacks.com, a new Irish online gaming site. The site will initially target customers in Ireland, UK, South Africa, and Canada. BetJacks claims to be Ireland’s first dedicated online gaming and betting platform.
“Today’s announcement reflects CryptoLogic’s strategy to take our Internet casino and poker products to new people and new places,” said CryptoLogic’s President and CEO, Brian Hadfield. “CryptoLogic and Betjacks will work together to develop an exciting new site that provides a superior entertainment experience to players around the world.”
BetJacks will offer both the downloadable and no-download versions of Cryptologic’s software for both casino games and poker.
With recent cheating scandals at other poker rooms fresh on players’ minds, BetJacks seems to be keenly aware of the importance of working with a partner that can be trusted. Brian Nesbit, Managing Director of BetJacks, cited Cryptologic’s “reputation for transparency and regulatory leadership” as key reasons for the company’s selection as software provider.
