Poker players around the world can rejoice in knowing that the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or FTOPS as it’s commonly known, will return for an eleventh installment. The wait won’t be long, either, as FTOPS XI debuts less than one month from now on February 4th. Once again, there will be 25 events that make up one of poker’s most popular festivals.
During FTOPS X, which was held in November, Full Tilt Poker member “Julian Verse” took down the $535 Main Event, which featured a $2.6 million prize pool. FTOPS XI will mark the seventh running of the high-dollar buy-in Two Day tournament, which brings out the top players the industry has to offer. The FTOPS X installment was won by Amit “amak316” Makhija, who finished as the runner up to John “The Razor” Phan at the World Poker Tour’s Legends of Poker tournament last August. Makhija took home a first place payday of over a half-million dollars for his FTOPS win; Verse won $450,000 in the Main Event. For the second straight time, the Two Day Event will have a $5,200 buy-in; previously, it was $2,620.

Cards will be dealt in the first tournament on Wednesday, February 4th. The Two Day Event begins on February 14th and its second day will occur concurrently with the Main Event. Last year, 5,225 players turned out for the featured tournament, one of two contests to draw more than 5,000 players. A total of $15 million will be up for grabs in the following 25 tournaments:
