Full Tilt Poker had another very successful weekend with their large guaranteed tournaments. Thousand of players took a shot at winning a percentage of the large prize pools that were at stake.
There were several poker pros that made deep runs into the Sunday Million; Allen Cunningham finished in 9th place for $17K, while Jeff Madsen had another outstanding performance and finished in 33rd place.
Aside from the regular guaranteed tournaments, the Big Little Tournament that took place on Sunday had a large field of players that reached thirty three thousand. The prize pool was $250K and the first place prize was $22,500. The man that outlasted the massive field was pokergott69 for $22K, Beurden took second place for $16K and code90 was the third place finisher for $11,5K.
The Sunday Brawl had a total of 2900 players for a total prize pool of $580K. After the last two remaining players reached a deal the original prizes were modified, first place was taken by CutelsWhatIAim4 for $93K and second place was taken by vers for $100K, the third place finisher was Mickey “Mement_mori” Petersen for $56K.
The $200K guaranteed with re-buys had a total of 568 registered players and the prize pool reached a notable $296K, the last man standing was LeoEleven for $74K, his opponent in the heads-up match was Zadig for $45K, third place was taken by losebigpots for $33K.
Once again the Double Deuce had a great influx of players, the total registered players exceeded 11K which boosted the prize pool to $233K, after hours of play the last three places reached a deal and when everything was over, adeks claimed first prize for $27K, TaylorFirebaugh was the runner-up for $30K and third place was taken by ALup for $20K.
The most awaited tournament on Sunday was the $1 Million Guaranteed – a total of 2,457 players registered for the tournament and the prize pool grew to $1,228,500. After hours of intense play JAMA1CA2008 managed to outplay the field to take down the first place prize of $225K, 4ortik76 finished in second place for $138K and the_snail03 took third place for $90K.
