Full Tilt Poker has made important announcements in the past two weeks. First was the release of the Rush Poker tables, which has created some controversy among players. Some love the fast paced action and some more methodical players believe that not being able to analyze the style of play of their opponents takes their edge from the tables. Either way players have showed that the Rush Poker tables have marked a trend in poker : being able to play a large number of hands in short period of time has certainly captured the attention of a large amount of players, with just two weeks; Rush Poker has an average number of players that exceeds three thousand at any given time and numbers are rising as more players take the time to give Rush Poker a chance.

Full Tilt also announced that during this entire week all guaranteed tournaments will have double the pay-outs. For those players that have not taken advantage of such an overwhelming promotion, Full Tilt will be ending the double guarantees this Sunday, so there’s still a good chance of playing in one of the Big Money Sunday Tournaments and cashing a six digit profit.

After the large influx of players at the different guaranteed tournaments during the entire week, Full Tilt could analyze all the information they have gathered and eventually increase all the guaranteed prize pools or at least run the double guaranteed promotion once a month or twice just like MCraig suggested at the Full Tilt blog. Generating more traffic and having more players involved at all times is something that Full Tilt has worked on and it looks like they have struck gold with these new promotions.
