Joe Hachem won the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event and has been a force in poker ever since. While other winners of the Main Event since the Moneymaker effect went into place have for the most part been one-hit wonders, Hachem has continued to excel in the game. His first major tournament won in 2005 was the Main Event, however, he did finish in 10th place just before that in the $1,000 Limit Hold’em Event. Since then he has eight events where he’s finished in the top five including a World Poker Tour Championship in 2006 at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic. He is one of only a handful of players to earn more than $10 million playing live tournament poker.

PokerStars signed Hachem, who now acts as a featured spokesperson for the popular online poker site. Hachem is a former chiropractor and is known in media circles as an intelligent and insightful interview. He often makes time for fans away from the tables at the appearances he makes, but make no mistake, is an intimidating force while playing at the tables and can even be known to bully players around.

In this interview exclusive to Poker News Daily, Hachem talks about his 2010 World Series of Poker and the events important to him going on in his life at this time. He’s interviewed by Bernard Lee, who is the official spokesperson of Foxwoods Casino who can also be seen on ESPN.com’s “Inside Deal” show.
