Cake Poker will be sponsoring live tournament games in Oregon’s premiere poker club, the West Side Poker Club, which has been open to the public since 2005.
The West Side Poker Club offers rake free cash games that run Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They also have tournaments every day of the week except on Wednesdays. In addition, the Club hosts special tournaments at least twice per month and rewards players who pre-register before 6:45pm by giving them two thousand chips on top of the regular starting stack.
On September 26 there will be a special tournament called the Portland Poker Championship with a buy-in of $220; the West Side Poker Club expects a field of at least one hundred players. There are satellite events running each weekend. Further details are given directly at the Club.
Players at the West Side Poker Club will receive Cake Poker gear packages in some of the live events held at the Club.
In other Cake Poker news, their biggest guaranteed tournament today will have a prize pool of $20K. The buy-in is $30 + $3 and there will be up to 99 re-buys and one add-on allowed per player. The tournament will start at 9pm ET.
