The Party Poker Open V got underway, but not before some controversy surrounding Luke “FullFlush1” Schwartz, who he recently got into some trouble at a London casino after grabbing a sandwich and refusing to pay for it. Luke was initially banned from the casino, but after some negotiating he was able to play on the condition that he remain with a chaperone who would be responsible for his behavior while on the casino premises.

Heat one of the World Open V had an outstanding player line-up that included Party Poker pro Ian Frazer, James Akenhead, Yevganiy Timoshenko. Also involved in the first heat were Party Poker qualifiers Christian Schafer and Jorg Muller.

Timoshenko took the early lead and had control of the chip lead for several hours but at the end of the first heat the last man standing was Luke ‘FullFlush1′ Schwartz, who will advance to the final which will be held on Thursday.

Heat two saw American player Phil Laak advance to the final on Thursday.

The third heat will begin today and feature Jennifer Tilly, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Sammy George and Roland De Wolfe.
