One of PartyPoker’s more popular promotions over the years, The Gladiator, has returned this month to the world’s second largest poker room. It is already up and running, having started March 1st, but it will continue through the end of the month, so there is still plenty of time for all PartyPoker players to win.
The promotion is simple. All players need to do is earn one Party Point in at least five days during the month of March to be eligible to win a prize. The prizes get more valuable the more points are earned per day and the more days in which points are earned, but all it takes to win the smallest prize is one point for five days.
The lowest level prize, the one awarded for earned one point in each of 5 days, is a $500 Gladiator freeroll to be held on April 1st. At 10, 15, 20, and 25 days, freerolls are also the prizes, though the guaranteed prize pools increase. Freerolls are the lone prizes for five points earned over 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 days, for 10 points during 5, 10, and 15 days, for 20 points earned during 5 and 10 days, and for 50 Party Points accumulated during each of 5 days.
The number of days targets not mentioned at each of the points levels above have cash prizes ranging from $10 to $120. At the 100 points mark and higher (200, 400, 800, and 1,200), all prizes are cash prizes.
The grand prize is for the most loyal and active of PartyPoker players. Anyone who earns 1,200 Party Points on each of 30 days during March will receive an $8,000 World Poker Tour (WPT) prize package. The prize package can be used to attend to buy-in to any WPT the winner would like, as well as travel and accommodation expenses. For those who do not wish to play in a WPT event, the prize package can be converted to $5,000 cash.
Everyone who wins a cash prize will also receive an entry into the April 8th $25,000 Gladiator freeroll, the most lucrative freeroll of the promotion.
Additionally, keep in mind that points to not need to be earned in consecutive days. Thus, while someone who earns 20 points for 15 days in a row will earn $15, so will someone who earns 20 points 5 days in a row, takes a couple days off, then earns 20 points for another 10 days in a row.
Like many PartyPoker promotions, players must “opt-in” from their account in order to have points count and to be eligible for prizes.
