That’s right…if you have been under a rock for the past six months, you might find it hard to believe that it is only a few weeks until the cards hit the air for the 2022 World Series of Poker. The actual date for the first event is May 31 (when the Casino Employees Event takes to the stage), so it might be a good idea to figure out how to check out the action from the two new locations, Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas on the Strip. If you are not there, one way you will be able to find out what is going on is through the streaming service PokerGO and its coverage of the events.
21 Events to Be Streamed
For 2022, PokerGO is going with a “less is more” approach. While they might not offer the wall-to-wall coverage as they have in years past, they are targeting what they believe will be the major events of the schedule. Thirty-two days of this summer’s forty-eight days of action will be aired on PokerGO, something that Mori Eskandani, the president of PokerGO, was quite enthused about.

In past years, PokerGO attempted to cover nearly all the action that took place in Las Vegas. Having covered the tournaments myself, that is nearly impossible, even for an organization like PokerGO. Thus, they have decided to reduce the number of events they will cover to twenty-one bracelet events, including the 2022 WSOP Championship Event (the “Main Event” to some).
Action Begins on PokerGO on June 2
The first broadcast action from Bally’s will be on June 2. The $100,000 High Roller Bounty No Limit Hold’em Championship should feature a plethora of deep-pocketed pros kicking off their 2022 WSOP with dreams of a bracelet. The “High Roller” events will be prominently featured during the PokerGO run, with eight of the events (counting the WSOP Poker Players’ Championship) constituting “High Roller” tournaments.
