The APPT Sydney main event and the High Roller tournament started yesterday. Last year’s champion in the High Roller, Australian Jarred Graham, is back this year for another shot at the title and big prize pool. He started the tournament in great shape and eventually got heads-up against George Moussa.

Moussa was not able to control the aggressiveness in Graham’s game and eventually Moussa lost the battle against the young Australian player. Graham has had a very successful year in both live and online tournaments. His earnings have been on the rise and he is constantly in the top ten lists of Australian players.

Day two of the tournament should start with 68 players on Friday, with the following names leading the way: Julius Colman, David, Steicke, Leo Boxell, Tino Lechich, Emanuel Seal, Jay Kinkade, Kristian Lunardi, Aaron Benton and Michael Guzzardia among others.

In other Pokerstars news, the PCA will be hosted from January 4th through the 14th and their are many ways in which players can win a package for this yearly unique event.
