The remarkable field of eighty four players that registered to the PCA high roller event had plenty of the world’s best known pros. Among the field were previous EPT, WSOP and WSOPE winners and it looked like the tournament would have lots of exciting moments. Luckily it did not disappoint.

Day three started with Dario Minieri in the chip lead but that was no guarantee that he would end the day with at least a good stack. Minieri was out of the tournament even before the money positions were reached. Some of the players that found their tournament life over on day three – but still made some money – were PokerStars Pro Greg Raymer for $46K, EPT Barcelona ’09 winner Carter Phillips and the current WSOP champion Joe Cada.

Among the remaining nine players in the tournament were the only two women that entered the tournament and both of them looked set for the final table, but unfortunately for PokerStars Pro Sandra Naujoks her tournament participation ended when she moved all-in while holding As-9c; Tobias Reinkemeier wanted to play along and showed pocket jacks. The board did not improve Naujoks’s cards and that ended her deep run at the high roller event. After she was out the final table was set and play stopped. Players will be returning today and playing down to a final champion.

The chip leader at the start of the final table today will be Tobias Reinkemeier, who previously made a deep run into at the PCA main event but did not make the final table. He has also made deep runs in several tournaments in ’09 but did not make the final table in anyof them, so he is clearly happy to finally get the opportunity to play in a final table and he will be making the most out of it.

The players that made the final table are: Adolfo Vaeza, William Reynolds, Michiel Brummelhuis, Dmitry Stelmark, Will Molson, Lisa Hamilton, Matt Marafioti and of course the chip leader Tobias Reinkemeier.
